Antoine Semenyo is having a serious season. This is not hype. The numbers are speaking. He has hit 20 goals this season across Bournemouth and Manchester City, and in the Premier League alone he has been among the top scorers with 16 league goals. That is a big statement for a Ghanaian forward playing at the highest level.
What makes it even stronger is how he has stepped up in big moments. After moving to Manchester City in January, Semenyo did not go there to just sit on the bench. He scored in the Carabao Cup final and also scored the winning goal in the FA Cup final against Chelsea. That is impact. That is a player proving himself when the pressure is high.
For Ghana, this is the kind of form we need going into the World Cup. If Semenyo can bring this same energy, confidence and hunger to the Black Stars, it will be a big advantage for us. Ghana will need players who can decide games, score goals and make an impact against strong teams. We hope he carries this form to the World Cup and delivers when the nation needs him most.
