NADMO Urges Ghanaians to Save Emergency Number 112
The National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) has urged Ghanaians to memorise and save the emergency number 112 to ensure a quick response during disasters and emergencies.
The toll-free line operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing immediate assistance to people facing emergencies across the country. NADMO emphasised that public awareness and preparedness are essential in reducing the impact of disasters and protecting lives.
Citizens are encouraged to share the number with family members, friends, and communities, as timely access to emergency services can make a significant difference in critical situations.
Additional emergency contact numbers, 0302964884 and 0291913977, remain available for support. The organisation also advised the public to follow its official social media platforms for regular safety tips and updates.
NADMO's campaign reinforces the message that prevention, preparedness, and rapid response are key to building safer communities in Ghana.
